Where can we use PayLater?

PayLater is available as a payment option at ICICI Bank payment gateway for making online purchases, in addition to the standard options like credit card, debit card and Pockets Wallet. For making a payment, simply choose your PayLater Account in the checkout page

How can I get the PayLater facility?

PayLater by ICICI Bank is available to a set of customers on an invite- only basis. The customers for which the facility is available will receive the invite pop-up when they log into Pockets wallet, iMobile or Internet Banking.

Where can PayLater not be used?

PayLater cannot be used for making Credit Card payments, or to transfer funds to other bank accounts or do any person to person funds transfer.

What is the limit that is available on my PayLater account?

The limit of your Paylater account can range between Rs.10000 to Rs.25000, based on your eligibility. The limit will be preset for the customers to whom the invite is sent.

How can I pay the Paylater dues?

The PayLater dues will be debited automatically from your ICICI Bank Savings Account.

Are there any charges involved in using Paylater?

Customer shall be charged penal interest based on daily total outstanding post the ‘Pay by Date’. Additionally, customer shall also be levied fixed late payment charges, in subsequently generated bills until dues cleared.

Can I use the PayLater UPI ID to transfer money to individual’s UPI ID?

No, PayLater UPI ID can be used only for merchant UPI ID and not for payments to any P2P UPI transactions (Peer to Peer)

How does PayLater work?

You get a 30-day interest-free digital credit. You can pay your bills, shop online and pay to any merchant UPI ID instantly.

What if my current communication address is not updated with the bank?

  • The bank will send the card to your registered communication address. To receive the new upgraded Chip and PIN Debit Card at your new communication address, you can update your communication address via:
  • Internet Banking or by visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch.
    • To update your address through Internet Banking:
    • Log in to www.icicibank.com> My Profile> Update Account Preferences
    • Click on the ‘Update’ tab next to ‘Communication Address’
    • Fill up the required details, upload your address proof and click on ‘Submit’

    Your address will be updated within 2 working days and the new card will then be delivered to your updated address.

    Alternatively, you may visit the nearest ICICI Bank branch with your documents to update the address.

What happens if someone fails to pay their PayLater bills on time?

In case customer payments are not received within 15 days from the bill generation date, customers would be charged late interest on the daily total outstanding on the total due amount, with interest calculation done from the bill due date.

What is PayLater?

PayLater is a digital credit product, similar to a Credit Card. With it you can make your purchases today and the payments within 30 days of the transaction date and no interest is charged.

Where all can I use the PayLater UPI ID for payments?

PayLater UPI ID can be used for payments to any merchant UPI ID.

Can I have multiple PayLater accounts linked to the various products of ICICI?

No, you can have one Paylater account whose details will be reflecting in all eligible payment options.

Where all can I apply for the PayLater facility once I receive the invite?

PayLater facility is available on Internet banking, iMobile and Pockets wallet

How do I use my credit card?

To use your credit card at merchant outlet, please follow the following instructions:

  1. The merchant will dip your card at a PIN enabled POS terminal
  2. The merchant will enter the amount to be paid by you
  3. The POS terminal will prompt for the PIN
  4. Enter your 4 digit Credit Card PIN on the POS terminal. Pull out the card once the transaction is complete

To use your credit card for online transaction, please follow the following instructions:

  1. Make sure you are using a secure site while making payments through the Internet. Look for a lock icon in the status bar of your web browser. This icon indicates that a site is employing an encryption technology during the transmission of your sensitive data.
  2. Never respond to phishing e-mails that falsely claim to be from a bank and ask you to disclose your personal and bank related confidential details. ICICI Bank will never ask you to send your personal banking details.
  3. Get yourself enrolled for 3D Secure (Verified by Visa (VbV)/ MasterCard SecureCode (MCSC)). This is now mandatory for carrying out online transactions.
  4. Avoid accessing your Internet banking account on unsecured public computers (e.g. internet cafes).
  5. Once you have completed your online banking transactions, remember to log-off by clicking on the "log-off" option. Close your browser and lock your computer if it is left idle.

How do I know the balance on my Gift Card?

  • Balance enquiry through Self-Care Portal:
    https://inrprepaid.icicibank.com/customer/login.jsp
  • Balance enquiry through ATM: For this you will have to generate an ATM PIN, which can be done either by self-care page, or through IVR.
    The process for generating PIN through IVR is as follows:
    • On calling Customer Care you will be asked about your language preference
    • Post selection of language, you need to choose 'option 2' for Prepaid Cards 
    • You will be asked to enter the 16-digit Card No. 
    • Next you need to enter your detail as instructed by IVR.  
    • IVR will prompt you to choose 'option 1' for ATM PIN generation. 
    • Post selection, your call will be routed to a Phone Banking Officer, where you will have to request the Phone Banking Officer to generate ATM PIN for your card. 
    • Phone Banking Officer will route the call to a menu, where Card no. will be read out in IVR.  
    • Post this, you will be asked to enter 3-digit CVV2 no. mentioned in the backside of your Card.  
    • Next, you will be asked to enter a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice.  
    • You will be asked to reconfirm the new ATM PIN by re-entering it again. 
    • The ATM PIN is now reset.
  • Balance enquiry through Customer Care: For balance enquiry through phone banking, you will have to call ICICI Bank 24-hour Customer Care and provide details like Name, Card No., Address, etc. and thereafter the Phone Banking Officer will tell you the amount available on the card.

How can I recharge my FASTag account?

You may recharge your FASTag account by making payment through cheque or online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT/ RTGS/ UPI or Internet Banking.

 

For customer whose KYC documents are received, the FASTag Account recharge limit is Rs. 1,00,000. For non-KYC customers, the recharge limit is Rs. 20,000 only.

Payment Mode: Payment through ICICI Bank Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) free of any charge

Click on Recharge account > Select the CUG account and enter amount > Select Payment Mode
as Payment through ICICI Bank Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) free of any charge > Click on Make Payment > Login with CIB credentials >Enter OTP, complete the transaction.

 

Payment Mode: Pay by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking

Click on Recharge account > Select Pay to CUG Wallet > Enter Amount > Select Payment mode as Pay by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking > Click on Make payment > Click on the cards or Internet Banking as per requirement.

1. For Credit Card/ Debit Card transactions: Enter 16-digit card number, expiry date, CVV > Authenticate with OTP
2. For Internet Banking options: Enter respective bank’s User ID, Password > Authenticate with OTP > Follow the steps

 

Payment Mode: NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS with IFSC code

 

1. ICICI Bank users:
Login to Internet Banking > PAYMENTS & TRANSFER> Fund Transfer > Select 'An account in other bank through NEFT, RTGS or IMPS with IFSC code' > Add Payee.

Validate and initiate NEFT/ RTGS after 30 minutes

2. Non-ICICI Bank users:

Is it necessary to get my mobile number/e-mail registered to generate a login/ transaction passwords online?

Yes. It is mandatory to have a registered mobile number updated for resident savings account and NRI account holders.
Resident savings account holders can add/ update their mobile number by visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch or ATM. To locate the nearest ICICI Bank branch or ATM, please click here.


NRI customers can add/ update their registered mobile number by calling our Customer Care or visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch in India.

I do not have a user ID and password. How do I get one?

You can get your User ID through any of the below mentioned channels:

  1. Internet Banking:
    1. Visit our website www.icicibank.com > Internet Banking (Bottom of the page) > I want my User ID.
    2. On successful entry of savings account number and mobile number, you will receive the User ID and its status on your registered mobile number through an SMS. Alternatively, you may click here to proceed.
  2. Customer Care:

    You may call our Customer Care, authenticate on IVR by entering the 16-digit number of your debit card and the 4-digit ATM PIN to get your User ID instantly.

  3. ICICI Bank Branch:

What is the status of my credit card?

If you have applied for a credit card through our website, you can track the status by clicking on "Track Application Status"

You will then be asked to enter information such as your application Id, Mobile number, PAN and Date of Birth. If these details match with what we have in our records, you will be able to see the status of your credit card application.
 
If you have applied for a credit card through the branch or any other channels, you can check the status of the application by calling our Customer Care.

How do I make a payment through “Click To Pay – Debit Card”?

You can make an online payment through your Debit Card in the following 4 simple steps:

  1. Browse the ICICI Bank website and click on the “Click To Pay – Debit Card” link.
  2. Select your card type, i.e. ICICI Bank Debit Card or non-ICICI Bank Debit Card (VISA) etc.
  3. Type your loan number and validate.
  4. Validate your Debit Card on Payment Gateway and make your overdue payments instantly.

What is an ICICI Bank Debit Card?

An ICICI Bank Debit Card makes your payments much more convenient and secure through an electronic payment facility directly from your Savings or Current Account with ICICI Bank.

I have entered the User ID and mobile number correctly, but still I am not able to generate the unique number.

How do I generate/ reset my FASTag username and password?

Once your FASTag account is created, please login to the customer portal and register yourself to generate your User ID and Password. Please enter the required information in the prompts and the system will send an SMS with your login details to your registered mobile number. How to use ICICI Bank Gift Card for online transactions?

For making online transactions, please follow the below steps:

  1. Click here and register yourself as a new user 
  2. Generate 3D Secure PIN using Card Number, Date of Birth and Valid from fields.
  3. Once 3D PIN is generated, you can start online purchases.

How and when will I receive my new upgraded EMV Chip and PIN Debit Card? How will I receive the information pertaining to the dispatch of the upgraded card?

  • ICICI Bank has started dispatching the EMV Chip and PIN Debit Card to its customers.
  • The card will be dispatched to your registered communication address updated with the bank
  • The card upgrade process has been initiated by the bank and the cards will be dispatched in slots till December, 2018. You can receive the card(s) any time before December, 2018
  • You will receive information regarding the dispatch through an SMS on your registered mobile number and an e-mail on your registered e-mail ID.

How to register and login into Prepaid Card Portal?

Corporate Portal

For logging in the New Prepaid Card Corporate Portal, please use your existing User ID.

New Default Password: Last 8 characters of your User ID in reverse order.

Please note:

  • User ID can be of maximum 17 characters.
  • Please add 0’s (Zeros) at the end of the password for any password forming less than 8 characters.
  • You can also use the "Forget Password" option available on Top-Right side of the screen. You need to enter the User ID and click "Submit". The new password will get triggered to your registered e-mail ID.

Self Care Portal

You need to register yourself for accessing the new Prepaid Card Self Care Portal.

Steps to be followed:

  • Click on Register New User Screen (Link available on Top Right side of the Screen). 
  • Enter your Prepaid Card Number, CVV and Click Submit.
  • System will prompt for filling below details:
    • Create your User Name
    • Create your new Password
    • Re-enter your new Password
    • Create your Transaction Password
    • Re-enter your Transaction Password
    • Choose security questions from the dropdowns and fill the answers
  • Post filling all the requested details, click Submit.
  • Message confirming successful registration and creation of User ID and Password will be displayed at “Top Left side of the Screen”.

Post successful registration, click on Login Page and enter your login details for signing in and viewing your card details.

I already have an ICICI Bank Credit Card. Can I still apply for the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card? What will happen to my old card?

This is an invite-only programme. Customers who have been invited can apply for this Credit Card. You will continue to have ownership of your older ICICI Bank Credit Card, post approval of the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
