How do I use my credit card?

To use your credit card at merchant outlet, please follow the following instructions:

  1. The merchant will dip your card at a PIN enabled POS terminal
  2. The merchant will enter the amount to be paid by you
  3. The POS terminal will prompt for the PIN
  4. Enter your 4 digit Credit Card PIN on the POS terminal. Pull out the card once the transaction is complete

To use your credit card for online transaction, please follow the following instructions:

  1. Make sure you are using a secure site while making payments through the Internet. Look for a lock icon in the status bar of your web browser. This icon indicates that a site is employing an encryption technology during the transmission of your sensitive data.
  2. Never respond to phishing e-mails that falsely claim to be from a bank and ask you to disclose your personal and bank related confidential details. ICICI Bank will never ask you to send your personal banking details.
  3. Get yourself enrolled for 3D Secure (Verified by Visa (VbV)/ MasterCard SecureCode (MCSC)). This is now mandatory for carrying out online transactions.
  4. Avoid accessing your Internet banking account on unsecured public computers (e.g. internet cafes).
  5. Once you have completed your online banking transactions, remember to log-off by clicking on the "log-off" option. Close your browser and lock your computer if it is left idle.

How do I know the balance on my Gift Card?

  • Balance enquiry through Self-Care Portal:
    https://inrprepaid.icicibank.com/customer/login.jsp
  • Balance enquiry through ATM: For this you will have to generate an ATM PIN, which can be done either by self-care page, or through IVR.
    The process for generating PIN through IVR is as follows:
    • On calling Customer Care you will be asked about your language preference
    • Post selection of language, you need to choose 'option 2' for Prepaid Cards 
    • You will be asked to enter the 16-digit Card No. 
    • Next you need to enter your detail as instructed by IVR.  
    • IVR will prompt you to choose 'option 1' for ATM PIN generation. 
    • Post selection, your call will be routed to a Phone Banking Officer, where you will have to request the Phone Banking Officer to generate ATM PIN for your card. 
    • Phone Banking Officer will route the call to a menu, where Card no. will be read out in IVR.  
    • Post this, you will be asked to enter 3-digit CVV2 no. mentioned in the backside of your Card.  
    • Next, you will be asked to enter a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice.  
    • You will be asked to reconfirm the new ATM PIN by re-entering it again. 
    • The ATM PIN is now reset.
  • Balance enquiry through Customer Care: For balance enquiry through phone banking, you will have to call ICICI Bank 24-hour Customer Care and provide details like Name, Card No., Address, etc. and thereafter the Phone Banking Officer will tell you the amount available on the card.

Is it necessary to get my mobile number/e-mail registered to generate a login/ transaction passwords online?

Yes. It is mandatory to have a registered mobile number updated for resident savings account and NRI account holders.
Resident savings account holders can add/ update their mobile number by visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch or ATM. To locate the nearest ICICI Bank branch or ATM, please click here.


NRI customers can add/ update their registered mobile number by calling our Customer Care or visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch in India.

How can I recharge my FASTag account?

You may recharge your FASTag account by making payment through cheque or online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT/ RTGS/ UPI or Internet Banking.

 

For customer whose KYC documents are received, the FASTag Account recharge limit is Rs. 1,00,000. For non-KYC customers, the recharge limit is Rs. 20,000 only.

You can get your User ID through any of the below mentioned channels:

    2. On successful entry of savings account number and mobile number, you will receive the User ID and its status on your registered mobile number through an SMS. Alternatively, you may click here to proceed.
  2. Customer Care:

    You may call our Customer Care, authenticate on IVR by entering the 16-digit number of your debit card and the 4-digit ATM PIN to get your User ID instantly.

  3. ICICI Bank Branch:

What is the status of my credit card?

If you have applied for a credit card through our website, you can track the status by clicking on "Track Application Status"

You will then be asked to enter information such as your application Id, Mobile number, PAN and Date of Birth. If these details match with what we have in our records, you will be able to see the status of your credit card application.
 
If you have applied for a credit card through the branch or any other channels, you can check the status of the application by calling our Customer Care.

What is an ICICI Bank Debit Card?

An ICICI Bank Debit Card makes your payments much more convenient and secure through an electronic payment facility directly from your Savings or Current Account with ICICI Bank.

How to use ICICI Bank Gift Card for online transactions?

For making online transactions, please follow the below steps:

  1. Click here and register yourself as a new user 
  2. Generate 3D Secure PIN using Card Number, Date of Birth and Valid from fields.
  3. Once 3D PIN is generated, you can start online purchases.

How can I increase the credit limit on my credit card?

How to register and login into Prepaid Card Portal?

Corporate Portal

For logging in the New Prepaid Card Corporate Portal, please use your existing User ID.

New Default Password: Last 8 characters of your User ID in reverse order.

Please note:

  • User ID can be of maximum 17 characters.
  • Please add 0’s (Zeros) at the end of the password for any password forming less than 8 characters.
  • You can also use the "Forget Password" option available on Top-Right side of the screen. You need to enter the User ID and click "Submit". The new password will get triggered to your registered e-mail ID.

Self Care Portal

You need to register yourself for accessing the new Prepaid Card Self Care Portal.

Steps to be followed:

  • Click on Register New User Screen (Link available on Top Right side of the Screen). 
  • Enter your Prepaid Card Number, CVV and Click Submit.
  • System will prompt for filling below details:
    • Create your User Name
    • Create your new Password
    • Re-enter your new Password
    • Create your Transaction Password
    • Re-enter your Transaction Password
    • Choose security questions from the dropdowns and fill the answers
  • Post filling all the requested details, click Submit.
  • Message confirming successful registration and creation of User ID and Password will be displayed at “Top Left side of the Screen”.

Post successful registration, click on Login Page and enter your login details for signing in and viewing your card details.

How do I pay my credit card bill?

What if my current communication address is not updated with the bank?

  • The bank will send the card to your registered communication address. To receive the new upgraded Chip and PIN Debit Card at your new communication address, you can update your communication address via:
  • Internet Banking or by visiting the nearest ICICI Bank branch.
    • To update your address through Internet Banking:
    • Log in to www.icicibank.com> My Profile> Update Account Preferences
    • Click on the ‘Update’ tab next to ‘Communication Address’
    • Fill up the required details, upload your address proof and click on ‘Submit’

    Your address will be updated within 2 working days and the new card will then be delivered to your updated address.

    Alternatively, you may visit the nearest ICICI Bank branch with your documents to update the address.

How do I generate/ reset my FASTag username and password?

Once your FASTag account is created, please login to the customer portal and register yourself to generate your User ID and Password. Please enter the required information in the prompts and the system will send an SMS with your login details to your registered mobile number. Can I close my goal mid way? Is there any penalty?

Yes, you can close the Iwish account at any time. However, pre closure charges applicable.
If a iWish RD Account is prematurely closed, then the interest on it will be earned for the period it is held with the bank minus the premature closure charges and is 0.5% if original tenure is less than 1 year and 1% for more than 1 year.

What if I achieve the goal early?

You can continue to keep the amount into your goal till the end of the period for which the goal was originally targeted to be achieved. Moreover, you will continue to get higher rate of interest for the rest of the period.
 

Is there any fees for using my Debit Card for retail or online transactions?

No. There is no fee for using your debit card for retail or online transactions. However, under certain merchant categories like railways and fuel, a fee may be levied by the merchant on every purchase.

What is a '6-digit unique number'? How is it different from a password?

The 6-digit unique number is sent to your registered mobile number for Resident Saving account and NRI account holders.You need to validate this number on the validate option available to generate your new password.

How long does it take for the money to get credited into the beneficiary account?

For successful UPI transactions, funds get credited into the beneficiary's account instantaneously.

Who can avail Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme?

The "Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme” (CLSS) under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under this scheme, interest subsidy on purchase/ construction/ extension/ improvement of house is provided to customers belonging to Economical Weaker Section (EWS)/Lower Income Group (LIG)/Middle Income Group (MIG). For eligibility the beneficiary family should not have received central assistance under the Mission “Housing for all by 2022”.

A beneficiary is defined as:

  • A family comprising of husband, wife and unmarried children
  • Beneficiary can also be an unmarried individual earning member of the family (only for MIG scheme).
  • Beneficiary should not own a pucca house either in his / her name or in the name of any member of his / her family in any part of India.
  • Beneficiary should not have received central assistance under the CLSS scheme
  • Meeting income criteria defined as per various categories under the scheme.

At what price the bonds are sold?

Price of the Bonds shall be fixed in Indian Rupees on the basis of simple average of closing price of gold of 999 purity published by the India Bullion and Jewelers Association Limited for the last three business days of the week preceding the subscription period. The issue price of the Gold Bonds will be ₹ 50 per gram less than the nominal value to those investors applying online.

How can I close my iWish goal?

You may close your iWish goal through the below channels.
 
Internet Banking:
Login to your Internet Banking Account > Exclusive Offerings > IWISH-Flexible RD > Manage your Goals > Manage > Close Goal.
 
iMobile:
Login to iMobile -> Accounts & Deposits -> iWish-Flexible RD -> Manage your Goals > Manage > Close Goal. The funds will be immediately credited to your savings account.
 
You will be unable to partially withdraw the money mid way. You can withdraw money mid way by closing your goal. However in that case, you will earn interest at the rate corresponding to the period the goal is held with the bank. Please note that the applicable penalty will be charged for premature closure of goal.
 
If an iWish Account is prematurely closed, then the interest on it will be earned for the period it is held with the bank minus the premature closure charges of 0.5% if original tenure is less than 1 year and 1% for more than 1 year.
 

How can I view and download Credit Card statement?

You can view your credit card statement details through the following modes:


Internet banking:

Log in to your Internet Banking Account > My Accounts > Credit Cards > Service request > Credit card statement request- E-mail > Choose the date required (You can download the statement as a PDF)


Login with your User ID and Password to view and download your Credit Card statement.


iMobile:

Login to iMobile > Click on > Select Credit Card Number> Click on Card Number > Click on More options > Select the Last/past Statement > Choose the Statement date and View/Send e-mail.

I have new vehicle fitted with RFID Tag. How to get it activated?

We are exploring ways to use these tags for ETC , however it will require some new technical development. It will also be subject to tag being in proper condition without any damage or tampering.

How will I receive the interest subsidy benefit under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?

The Bank will claim subsidy benefit for eligible borrowers from National Housing Bank (NHB). The NHB will conduct a due diligence to exclude claims where customer has submitted multiple request. For all eligible borrowers, the subsidy amount would be paid to the Bank. Once the Bank receives the interest subsidy, it will be credited upfront to the loan account. The subsidy will be calculated on Net Present Value (NPV) at 9% discount rate.

 

For example, the borrower avails a loan for Rs. 8 lakh and the subsidy works out to Rs. 2, 20,000. The amount (Rs. 2, 20,000) would be reduced upfront from the loan (i.e., the loan would reduce to Rs. 5, 80,000) and the borrower would pay EMIs on the reduced amount of Rs. 5, 80,000.
