I am getting the following error message: ‘Dear Customer, transaction declined by ICICI Bank due to Invalid Remitter Account number.’ What should I do?

Check if the mobile number which you have registered with Tap N Pay is the same that is registered with your linked ICICI Bank Savings Account. If not, you can update the mobile number in your ICICI Bank Savings Account from any ICICI Bank ATM by selecting the ‘Others’ option. The mobile number will get updated in 2 working days. Once the mobile number is updated, you can top up your Tap N Pay Account using the SMS top-up facility.
